“I had been swimming indoors and open water for about 5 years, since my kids started swim training. I was trying hard , 3-4 times a week but not seeing much improvement in my indoor or outdoor swim times. I d tried a couple of clubs and organised sessions but it was hard to make the times they were on. Joining SwinWod changed everything! The sessions are personalised, keep swimming interesting whilst really challenging me. The drills and videos have helped my technique massively with the addition of occasional 1:1 sessions with Emma Gage when I felt I needed more direct feedback. In a year I have taken minutes off my mile time, beaten my personal bests at everything from 400m to 5 km and am about to do my first 5mile race. “Emma's home programs are great. I have no equipment and my fitness was dreadful after having a baby. After having a chat she has programmed 3 sessions a week for me since being in lockdown and tailored them perfectly to my needs, ability and the equipment I have access to.
